Arthur S. Colsky, M.D., Ph.D. Founder &  Medical Director of Advanced Acne Institute

The Advanced Acne Institute was founded by Arthur S. Colsky, M.D., Ph.D., board certified dermatologist and scientist. Dr. Colsky recognized the need for a dedicated acne treatment institute where acne sufferers could find relief from the frustration of acne. The Advanced Acne Institute has since become an invaluable resource for those who have searched unsuccessfully elsewhere for relief. Dr. Colsky’s leadership in advanced acne management techniques has led to recognition of the Advanced Acne Institute as a trusted acne treatment center offering solutions to those who have lost all hope for clear skin.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Dr. Colsky received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology. He continued his training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and earned his M.D. degree. Dr. Colsky also completed his doctoral dissertation in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology earning his Ph.D. degree. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine, Dr. Colsky entered the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery where he completed a residency in Dermatology. Dr. Colsky is currently on the clinical staff of the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and the clinical faculty of the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at the Florida International University.
